I think this particular one in the photo is an Eastern Bearded Dragon which was basking in the sunshine at a park near the beach on the Gold Coast of Queensland Australia. These fellas love the sun and will often be seen out sunbaking on a nice day. I would say this one is small to mid size compared to others I have seen.
Don’t worry, they don’t bite! They eat mainly crickets, cockroaches and that sort of thing, not humans!
